What happens once you’ve received your sacraments at the Easter Vigil? You enter a period of deeper understanding and spirituality called the mystagogy. During the mystagogy, you will find your footing as a new and practicing Catholic, and you will discover what it means to live sacramentally. Thankfully, the mystagogy is not the end of your journey to becoming a saint; instead, it is a launching pad for you to live the rest of your life for God. Make sure that you are attending weekly Mass and receiving the sacraments frequently!
Our parishes want to help give you a strong foundation for your spiritual life. Make sure to register as a parishioner either with St. Elizabeth or St. James for all of your records are in one place and to make sure that you get information that is sent out! Both parishes have a number of events to help you either socially or spiritually connect to your parish. Always check our events tab on our website or our Facebook page for updates! Specifically, check out our adult faith lecture series that runs during the school year for topics to help you continue learning! As always, Father Sean Granger, our pastor, and Louisa Postlewait, our Director of Religious Education, remain as resources for you as you adjust to your new life as a Catholic!
If you have children, make sure that they are registered for religious education! Contact Louisa Postlewait at louisa@dtkc.org or call the parish office at 262-657-1156 so that your children can grow up in the Catholic faith!
