On the night before Easter, Catholics have the most important Liturgy of the year. At the Easter Vigil, the RCIA students receive the Sacraments of Initiation. The RCIA students finally become Catholic after preparing for a year or longer.
Catechumens and candidates (RCIA participants) enter a new life of grace. With the Sacraments, the participants become members of the Body of Christ. They can join Catholics all around the world in receiving Jesus in the Eucharist.
