The Sunday after Easter Sunday (April 24th, 2022) is Divine Mercy Sunday. This is a day that was declared by Pope St. John Paul II in the year 2000 after the canonization of St. Faustina, a woman who experienced the Lord appearing to her to show her the extent of His mercies. To recognize and seek the Lord's mercy, St. Elizabeth will have a chanted Divine Mercy Chaplet in English after the 10:30 Mass. After the 1:00 p.m. Mass at St. Elizabeth, there will be Adoration concluding with Benediction at 3:00 p.m. in Spanish. If you're not sure how to pray along, use the app iBreviary, and search for the Divine Mercy Chaplet under prayers.
