Introducing A Family of Faith
Downtown Kenosha Catholic is proud to offer a new opportunity for families this year. "A Family of Faith" is catechesis for the whole family, and it is a great way to learn more about Catholicism, develop a deeper prayer life as a family, and to connect with others in the parish.
With one parent gathering a month to connect and learn, "A Family of Faith" is accessible to even the busiest of families. Each month, parents are given a guide with concrete and age-specific ways to implement the Catholic faith at home. Every month there are also community gatherings where children and their parents can connect, relax, and have fun participating in nature walks, picnics, and other experiences.

"Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.
Education in the faith by the parents should begin in the child's earliest years...Family catechisms precedes, accompanies, and enriches other forms of instruction in the faith. Parents have the mission of teaching their children to pray and to discover their vocation as children of God..."
