Please join us on the St. James lawn for a family-friendly summer cookout on Tuesday, August 15 following the 5:30 p.m. Mass. What better way is there to celebrate a holy day than to gather with friends and food? Come for Mass, stay for the cookout!

Downtown Kenosha Catholic will provide the meat entrée and water bottles. Please bring your own lawn chair for sitting, either a side dish or dessert to share, and your beverage of choice (if you want to drink something other than water). Fun fact: The original St. James church (initially named St. Mark) where the rectory now stands was dedicated 177 years ago on Saturday, August 15. The current church cornerstone was laid in 1883 and was not completed until 1884.
