It is an honor and privilege to serve here at St. Elizabeth and St. James. I am filled with gratitude to our Lord for placing me in such a beautiful parish. I am eager to begin learning from such a gifted liturgist, Fr. Sean, and from a dear friend and mentor, Deacon Dan.
I was ordained to the permanent diaconate a year ago on September 10, and I have been serving at St. John Nepomuk in Racine. I have lived in Racine my entire life — up until two years ago when my wife Julie and I moved to Kenosha. We have five grown children and four grandchildren.
Our journey of service has grown together in Kenosha over the past year as my wife has found occupation working with the elderly, and I have been teaching middle school theology at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.
Even prior to formation, I had a love for Sacred Scripture and sharing it with others, particularly on the margins of society. I am overjoyed to begin this new chapter of service to St. Elizabeth and St. James parishes alongside Fr. Sean, who has done so much to restore the vibrancy for Christ and Catholic worship in the Downtown Kenosha Catholic community.
