Join us at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 30 at St. Elizabeth just in time to watch the beginning of the annual Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade, sponsored by Snap-on Incorporated.
Our property on 7th Avenue, where the convent used to stand, can accommodate a decent-sized crowd and is near the beginning of the parade route. You won’t want to miss the fantastic view of all of the participants this year, and there’s no better seat than here!
No chairs will be provided, so patrons will need to supply their own lawn chair for seating. We will have several tents set up to help provide shade. The 2024 parade, The Statute of Liberty: A National Treasure, is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
The Downtown Kenosha Catholic parishes will offer hamburgers and hot dogs for $3.00 per item. Additionally, DTKC will provide plates, napkins, buns, and condiment packets. Patrons should provide their own beverages. There will not be a potluck this year, so we are unable to accept or accommodate any dishes to pash.
NOTE:There will be no 1:00 p.m. Mass in Spanish offered on June 30 due to the Civic Veterans Parade.
